[Something On My Face]

It only need be as enjoyable as it is...

The music romanticizes the image and vice versa effectively. I felt at some times they weren't really responding to one another though. Maybe in production they were, but it got lost in the final presentation. Or then, maybe they were suppose to break off onto their own tangents here and there.

But I do feel some level of pretension with regard to the 'purpose' of the animation. This idea that the art is meaningful requires some clarification. What you did was design a visceral experience. What people imagine, or what it evokes in others beyond a visceral reaction, is an appendage beyond the scope of what has actually been designed here. That is, unless this piece was a practice in iconography. According to your responses it seems it wasn't.

And although it seems to have challenged some, perhaps I'm too laid back. I just sat back and enjoyed it. It didn't really need to make a statement or take me to some magical place to be effective or deep. I personally didn't feel challenged, but then, I didn't attempt to interpret it as text.

The idea that it is to make a statement sours a rather pleasant aftertaste. I feel as though both you and the angry reviewers are making the same mistake, just from different ends. Of course, this aught to be a review of the flash rather than the reviews, so there's your score.

It's completely fine to enjoy the experience as it is. It's just that some of the reviewers want meaning, but they look at it the wrong way, so I just try to point them to the right direction. Thanks of the review!

Good Work

It's definitely a nice flash. It does get kinda of boring around the middle and most of the jokes are clever, but not exactly laugh out loud funny. I do like it though!

I'd rather be clever than laugh-out-loud funny actually, but that'd be a nice touch. I'm really going to work up a funny script for the sequel, even with all the inside-jokes.

Very Nice

Very nice flash. Deep, touching. If your wondering about the 8 for graphics: simply put, the visuals were just alittle simplistic for a 10. And about audio: The song gets repetative after the first two pages. Great style though. I look forward to more. (and I only rate interactivity for games, so dont worry about that)

That was by far the wittiest of flashes ever. Visuals were well edited, style was great. Loved the mellow voice. And it was just hilarious. One great flash all 'round!

Holy crap! Lions!

They're so cute. Holy Heezoos that such an awesome flash. Low scores in interactivity mainly because there's no blood (which is a good thing!), and the most one can do is play and pause. While the shapes are simple they are very crisp and asthetically pleasing. Style is off the charts, unfortunately I can't vote over 10. Music kicked. And humor. Definitely one of the funnier flashes out there, very subtle too, but it wasn't really laugh out loud funny. Really awesome flash all in all.
